As a frequently used tool for searching information，communication and entertainment，internet is greatly welcomed by minors. This article is based on survey on internet use by minors in China（2013），discussing and comparing the disparities of urban minors and rural minors in the aspects of contacting with network，ways of going online，duration of online time，frequently used network functions and favorite websites. The result of static analysis reflects that there exists disparities between urban minors and rural minors in internet using rate，going online at home，sites for going online，age at which internet is used for the first time and duration of online time；similarities can be seen in the aspects of frequency of going online，frequently used network functions，frequently visited websites，the most familiar website and the most familiar accessed navigating site. According to the statistic mentioned above，this article analyzed problems in internet use by urban and rural minors and suggested countermeasures.
