The scale of trade and investment between China and Canada are relatively smaller，China’s international trade and foreign direct investment is only about one percentage point in the total investment respectively. Canadian exporting to China is accounted for about 1.3%，foreign direct investment is accounted for 1.4%. But bilateral trade has great prospects for cooperation，at present China is Canada’s second largest trading partner，third largest export destination and the second largest source of imports. This paper reviews the bilateral trade and investment on Canada’s trade policies and investment policies，the future cooperation in trade and investment fields and also the development space are discussed.
