During 2011-2013，the Fujian Provincial Committee and provincial government departments paid a great attention to the development of women’s education，and the in-depth implementation of Outline for Women’s Development in Fujian （2011-2020） and Outline for Children’s Development in Fujian （2011-2020）. This paper summarizes three measures applied by Fujian provincial government departments to implement the “Outlines” between 2011 and 2013. By taking effective measures，Fujian provincial government has made significant achievements：rapid development of pre-school education；increment in the consolidation of school education；steady development of vocational education；tangible improvements in women’s literacy. However，there are still several problems，such as adult education in rural areas doesn’t fully meet the educational needs of rural women；the attractiveness of vocational education for women needs to be improved；multi-level education system for women is yet introduced. On the basis of the above researches，this paper presents targeted measures to considerably promote the development of women’s education.
