The indirect coal liquefaction project conducted jointly by Yitai Group，and Shanxi Coal Chemistry Institute，a subsidiary of the Chinese Academy of Sciences，is one of China’s key CTL demonstration projects. Its core technology exceeded the assessment standards set by the Chinese Academy of Sciences. It passed the examinations by experts from the Ministry of Science and Technology and was accepted. It provides proper conditions for industrialization，with its indirect coal liquefaction commercial production line for which it has intellectual property rights. This report objectively and truthfully introduces the construction and operation process of the project，and puts forward ideas for development and policy recommendations for further industrialization.
