Henan Province，as one of the main areas for Eucommia ulmoides with traditional cultivation mode，is the first region for promoting the new Eucommia rubber resources cultivation mode（orchard-like cultivation model，etc.）. This review is based on large number of documents and field data. We systematically and thoroughly analyze the cultivation history and resources development，mode and techniques for culitvation，technical support for the development of Eucommia industry and research in Henan province. Finally，we make some recommendation on resolving some actute problems in modern Eucommia industry. This paper provides some guiding principles for managing Eucommia rubber resource and healthy development of Eucommia industry in Henan province.
