In the period of the the Eleventh Five-Year Plan，cities are dramatically rising in the form of agglomerations in China. On the one hand，the urban agglomerations emerge with large scale and its economic strength has increased markedly，becoming the strategic support of regional economic development in China. On the other hand，urban agglomerations are gradually matured and has formed the three levels’ urban agglomeration system：national urban agglomerations as the leading，the provincial as the main part，and the local as the supplement. In the next five years，China’s urban agglomerations will keep the current sound momentum of quickly-rising and the four regional sections and coastal urban belt can be seen in Prototype.
