Since the 18^th CPC National Congress，Sichuan Province，starting from the top design，highlights the high-end planning，and rigorously practices the rule of law. It has become a pioneer in thoroughly implementing the strategy of governing the country in line with law and has written a new chapter of governing Sichuan in line with law. Sichuan has promulgated and implemented important documents，including but not limited to the Outline of Governing Sichuan in Line with Law，the Index System of Governing Sichuan in Line with Law，the Decision on Implementing Spirits of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 18th CPC Central Committee and Comprehensively and Thoroughly Governing Sichuan Province in Line with Law，and the Three-year Action Program of “Seven-in of Law” in Sichuan Province（2014-2016）. Sichuan is top-ranked nationwide in aspect of governing the province in line with law. Based on empirical research on the status quo of governing Sichuan Province in line law，this Report sorts out the practices of governance in line of law of some Sichuan areas，and summarizes typical experiences and highlights of some cities and prefectures. From multidimensional levels of top design，institutional mechanisms，practices and explores，etc.，the issues and challenges lying in the process of governing Sichuan Province in line with law are explored，and overall outlooks on Sichuan’s work of governing the Province in line with law are brought forth at the end of the Report so as to provide theoretical and practical support to the overall promotion of rule of law in Sichuan Province.
