“A country without impartial law is doomed to decline and fall”. Sichuan judicial organs have always been aimed to practice judicial impartiality. Courts and procuratorial organs throughout Sichuan Province have put their functional roles of trial，enforcement，investigation and supervision into full play. From 2013 to the early half of 2014，courts in Sichuan have accepted 1201798 cases and completed trial and enforcement of 1069978 cases；in 2013，procuratorial organs in Sichuan Province have ratified arrests of 37270 criminal suspects of all kinds and indicted prosecution against 57692 persons. Such activities have fiercely combated and punished crimes，maintained social stability，and provided good market order and safety guarantee for the economic development. Besides keeping the last line of defense for social fairness and justice，Sichuan judicial organs also effectively change their work style，focus on improving the staff quality，adhere to justice for the people，and effectively solve the masses’ problems such as difficulties in litigation，enforcement，reporting，complaining or difficulties in applying for certificates. Promoted by adhering to judicial justice and efficiency，furthering judicial transparency and services，standardizing judicial activities and procedures and improving judicial work style and capacities，Sichuan judicial organs have innovated work mechanisms，deepened open justice，implemented supervision over power operation，improved service effects，actively promoted peace in Sichuan，building of rule of law in Sichuan，effectively promoted the social fairness and justice. Judiciary credibility has been greatly enhanced，and judicial guarantee has been provided for further reform in Sichuan in all aspects，for building rule of law in Sichuan，and for achieving good and fast development，comfortable homes and satisfactory jobs for the people and harmony and stability in the society.
