With the rapid development of new technology revolution and industrial revolution，the influence factors of regional industrial competitiveness will change obviously. Compared with last year’s assessment report，this report made a big adjustment to regional industrial competitiveness evaluation index system. After the relevant data of 18 cities in Henan statistical yearbook（2014）dimensionless processing，this report makes the comprehensive evaluation and analysis on regional industrial competitiveness from the following six aspects：industry scale，efficiency，science and technology innovation，ecology，information，and structure conversion. The results showed that 18 city’s industrial competitiveness show a non balanced distribution of four groups. According to the evaluation results，some countermeasures and suggestions of promoting competitiveness are given，for example，we should further improve the innovation capability of regional advantage industry，promote industry cluster district transformation，promote deeply combination of industrialization and information，promote high-end industrial development，improve green low carbon development level and so on.
