In 2013，Beijing ranked the 26th in the increase of the total cultural consumption in city-towns and the 25th in the growth of per capita value. The Rankings of the status evaluation are as follows：in the lateral evaluation among various provinces，Beijing ranked the 3rd in 2013；in vertical evaluation itself，Beijing ranked the 9th，18th，17th，17th，19th and 20th during the periods of 1993-2013，1995-2013，2000-2013，2005-2013，2010-2013 and 2012-2013 respectively.
