This report reviews the performances of Asia and Pacific Area from 2010 to the first half of 2011. And draws the following conclusions:the growth in this area is much stronger than the average of the global economy, although it has slowed down;the pressure of inflation is now rising up rapidly;the exchange rates have generally appreciated against US dollar;the external balance has been restored.Since the weak recovery of the advanced economies and the tightened policies by most of the economies in this area, the growth rate is expected to slow down, but still stronger than the western economies.Meanwhile,it is left as a tough work for the economies in Asia and Pacific to reform their economic structure.
