The exploration of Lingang Area gives great impetus of urbanization to this area which is the exurban region of Pudong before. Accordingly，Lingang Area obtained great-leap-forward development in the urban form，industry development，and living condition. The governments of the towns in this area，however，ought to face the problems such as how to adapt the accelerating change of urbanization and how to make correct choices in the proceeding of urbanization. On the basis of generalizing the urbanization of the towns in Lingang Area，this report analyzes the development of Nicheng as an example to explore the approaches to economic advancement and urbanization of the towns.
