It is one of the great goals for Henan Province to construct resource-saving cities，which adapts to the new demand of new urbanization. Based on the analysis of resource-saving city’s connotation and main content，this paper deeply analyzes the status and main problems in building the resource-saving cities and at last provides several pieces of suggestion to enhance the construction of the resource-saving cities，in order for Henan Province to make decisions on resource-saving cities’ construction.
