With its significant industries driving force and economic effects,tourism has become an industry developed vigorously by Japanese government in recent years.East Japan Earthquake and tsunami,nuclear accident triggered by the earthquake have directly caused serious damage to Japan's tourism industry,and also have a negative impact on passenger transportation,accommodation and other related industries,as well as Japan's economy and society.On one hand, the Japanese government and civil society had taken a number of measures which have promoted the gradual recovery of its tourism industry.On the other hand,the earthquake may also be the opportunity for Japan to re-examine and develop its tourism industry,to promote the expansion of tourism resources,improve the degree of internationalization of tourism industry and its related facilities and services,and further to promote the implementation of National Tourism Development Strategy. <<
