This paper offers examples and analysis on the Japanese emergency measures on dealing with the earthquake-induced disasters, the deployment of earthquake shelters in the city, the construction of disaster alarm and assessment system and the traffic control, etc. The purpose is to gain valuable experience from Japan to develop the mechanism on how to respond to the natural disasters in China. <<
