Henan is a big province of animal husbandry and a typical representative of the animal husbandry in China agriculture region. This paper summarized the achievements over the past year of Henan animal husbandry，and analyzed the new situation and the restricting factors of further development of Henan animal husbandry. On this basis，this paper clarified the further development ideas of Henan animal husbandry，and put forward the countermeasures to promote the sustained and healthy development of Henan animal husbandry.
