Closely related to the interests of the masses，public safety is the most important social demand of human society. In recent years，provincial party committee，provincial government as well as the party committees and governments at all levels of Henan have actively responded to challenges，overcome difficulties，forged ahead and deepened reform. They have carried positive explorations and reforms in food and drug safety，production safety，emergency management，public security prevention and control，network security and other aspects，maintaining the overall smooth of social public security situation and providing solid guarantees for Henan province’s economic and social development. However，there are still destabilizing factors affecting public security. With the deepening of economic and social structure transformation of Henan，the public security of Henan faces many new and severe tests. Party committees and governments at all levels should pay more attention to public safety oversight，improve people’s public security awareness and strengthen the construction of system and laws so as to further improve the public security system.
