In the process of Sichuan’s urbanization，there is a problem that land urbanization and population urbanization are not coordinated. The fundamental reason is that，the institution of land and population fails to adapt to the new demand of urbanization. Therefore，we should promote a reform about the land system，the rural and urban employment system and the household registration system to promote the coordinated development of land urbanization and population urbanization.
