The implementation of the system of grid service and management is an important means of keeping close contact with and providing face-to-face service to the people，as well as an effective tool of further strengthening and improving grassroots social governance under the new situation. This report reviews the practice of Sichuan Province in the implementation of the system of grid service and management with informatization as its support，introduces its successful experiences，and identifies various approaches to strengthening the relevant work. Grid service and management is a comprehensive system engineering of grassroots social governance，with its difficulty laying in the construction，its emphasis laying in the management，and its value laying in the application. Efforts need to be made to further improve the system in the context of deepening the reform in a comprehensive way and ruling the province by law，and to put the results of the improvement of the system into practical application，so as to continuously improve the quality of grassroots social governance.
