The legal aid activities carried out by Sichuan Tongxin Lawyers’ Service Corp in Tibetan minority areas are successful examples of the activities carried out by the National United Front and lawyer’s organizations in China and have played a positive role in safeguarding the lawful rights and interests of people of various ethnic groups，strengthening the ability of administration by law of governments at various levels，and enhancing the rule-of-law consciousness of the general public. This report describes the background，the current situation，the purposes and objectives，the main tasks and the work mechanism of Sichuan Tongxin Lawyers’ Service Corp and summarizes its successful experiences in providing legal aid services in Tibetan minority areas through the analysis of typical cases，with a view to promoting the improvement of the relevant systems in other areas，even at the national level.
