At present，with the improving of the life level of the residents in our country，demands of the leisure tourism of the people rapidly grow，the tourism industry is facing a great developing chance. Based on complementary features of the leisure and holiday tourism of Jiyuan and the surrounding area，this paper propose the strategic conception of Jiyuan becoming the Zhengzhou “back garden”，and to promote the transformation of Jiyuan tourism from the scenic spot tourism to the leisure tourism.
