The paper analyzes the evolution of urbanization of Lvliang mountain distrcit between 2004 to 2014 from three dimensions of population，industry and land. Through the analysis，we found the following three conclusions. Firstly，the level of urbanization in Lvliang mountain distrcit improved steadily，but the overall level is not high，and there were obvious difference internal. Secondly，the population-industrial-land urbanization diorders，but better than the average level of nation. Thirdly，the overall urbanization level of Lvliang mountain distrcit close to the nation average，and there were gather in space. Then，the author elaborated the spatial evolution trend of urbanization in Lvliang mountain distrcit，and pointed out that the industry-led model will still be the future choice of urbanization model in Lvliang mountain distrcit. Lastly，based on the analysis of urbanization mechanism，this paper put forwards the path of urbanization in Lvliang mountain distrcit from population urbanizaiton，industrial urbanizaiton，land urbanization，and the construction of transpotration infrastructure.
