This paper conducts a comprehensive evaluation and analysis of the development of urban-rural integration in Anhui Province，summarizes major problems in the process of urban-rural integration in Anhui Province，and proposes corresponding policy recommendations. An analysis of the development of urban-rural integration in Anhui Province in the past decade has revealed a steady boost of urban-rural integration in Anhui Province，a closing gap in consumption between urban and rural residents，more convenience in urban and rural transportation，gradual strengthening of urban and rural spatial connection，further improvement of urbanization，and a more developed urban and rural system，but still rather significant differences in urban-rural integration among different regions. The author suggests that in the future Anhui should accelerate the process of urban-rural integration and new urbanization by focusing on areas such as the development of the subject role of peasants，the construction of the system of city，town and township，the integrative development of the industries and the rational flow of urban and rural resources.
