Engulfed in the debt crisis, the EU has taken a range of positive actions in the social field, the most important of which include the positive ageing policy to alleviate the ageing problem and investment in people to promote employment and social inclusion, reform education and training, and initiate the Digital Agenda. All of these will not only contribute to ridding Europe of the debt crisis, but be undoubtedly of great importance to the future of Europe. <<
