The museums' tickets given for free is an important measure to practice civic cultural right and share the benefits of cultural development,and achievements, and it gains a favorable social effect. Meanwhile, some problems have followed after this open-for-free measure, such as the shortage in innovation power of the museum services, the low efficiency of the fund use,etc. This paper analyzes some problems after the free policy for the museums in China, elaborates the museum function orientation. This paper proposes the museum performance evaluation index system to provide theoretical support for sustaining open-for-free measure based on all this. <<
