Global governance has attracted more attention with the deepening of global interdependence and seriousness of global issues. However，the international society has divided on the question of how to govern. Generally speaking，there are three types of global governance paradigms，which are realism hegemonic governance，liberalism institutional governance and cosmopolitanism democratic governance. Since the end of cold war，especially the beginning of this century，the international system has gone through reforms and adjustments. The financial crisis which happened in 2008 has sped up reshape of the world order. The changes of international power structure and international norms have reduced efficiency of current global governance models. In the new context，there are various new global governance models put forward. The author believes that the new global governance model should be just and efficient；it should be based on the principles of comprehensiveness，equilibrium，progressive and effectiveness.
