China's foreign trade situation shows the following characteristics in the former 8 months of 2012: Firstly,the overall conditions of import and export maintain positive growth,but the rate is lower than the previous two years in the same periods. Secondly,exports of China to the EU present negative growth,while trades between China and emerging markets country have rapid growth. Thirdly,mechanical and electrical products,high-tech as well as crude oil are still the focus of China's imports. Fourthly,exports of labor-intensive products in China are still in downturn condition,which the export of machinery and electronic products grows steadily. Fifthly,the proportion of the import and export from private enterprises increases,while the proportion of processing trade continues to decline. Sixthly,more and more serious international trade protectionism continue to interfere with the growth of China's foreign trade. Although it is tough for China's foreign trade situation in 2012,the growth rate of it in the whole year is able to maintain 10%.
