International financial markets appeared to be stabilized in 2009 by joint interventions of major governments and international organizations. Global financial crisis turned to be ended and confidence in the markets started to recover. In response to conventional and unconventional measures taken by the governments, markets finally showed positive signals, such as,investors' risk tolerance upwards, market risk premium receded, equity markets continued to recover and the US dollar appreciated in the short-term on foreign exchange markets. International banking, debt securities and derivative markets have been improved as well. The main forces behind the development of international financial market in the next year lie in the success of exit strategy of major countries' stimulus packages and the recovery of real economy.
