Currently, China's Law on the Procedure of Conclusion of Treaties only provides procedural rules and contains many vague provisions. As such, this law can no longer satisfy the actual needs of China's rapidly growing treaty-making activities. In order to have a better understanding of the current situation for the law's implementation and to provide positive and feasible suggestions on the law's revision, this report investigates and analyzes the basic situation of the implementation of the Law on the Procedure of Conclusion of Treaties and the related procedural and substantive issues.
