Affected by the international financial crisis, export in Zhejiang Province has declined drastically in recent years while the risks faced by exporting enterprises increased significantly. This report, based on the analysis of the trial of cases of foreign-related trade disputes in Zhejiang Province, summarizes the five different types of trade risks faced by enterprises engaging in export business, namely risks in the conclusion of contract, sales of goods, transportation of goods, trade settlement, and dispute resolution, and proposes countermeasures from three aspects, namely capacity building by the courts, suggestions for functional government departments and suggestions for exporting enterprises.
