It is effectual to accelerate urbanization of Henan with these measures, such as construction of new urban system, urban clusters of central cities, new urban zones, industrial clusters, Central Business Districts, characteristic commercial areas, new rural communities and coordinated development of new urbanization, new industrialization and new agricultural modernization led by new urbanization. But there are some problems to be solved. Based on comprehensive consideration of the current situation and analysis of advantage and restrictive factors, it is predicted that urbanization of Henan will continue the trend as well as a series of new changes. It is required for acceleration and improvement of urbanization in Henan to optimize the configuration of urbanization, promote the integral development of industries and cities, support peasant citizenization, innovate mechanism, strengthen the resource-saving and environmental protection and improve urban and rural management. <<
