In 2012,Urbanization of Taiyuan has won remarkable achievements. The urbanization rate ran up to 83.4%. Nevertheless, there are still many serious constraints in the process of urbanization of Taiyuan. From 2013 to 2014, Taiyuan should adhere to the scientific outlook on development as guidance, follow the "expanding the scale, raising the level, improving the function and highlighting the characteristics" as the basic principles of urbanization development in order to achieve a comprehensive upgrade quality of urbanization of Taiyuan. <<
