Based on a three-wave questionnaire survey in Wenchuan earthquake-affected area, the paper makes a comprehensive description of people's living condition in Wenchuan. The paper presents detailed information on Wenchuan's housing and infrastructure reconstruction, local residents' employment status, their recovery of agricultural production, and local medical care provisions. The paper also studies local residents' social capital and their social attitude. Moreover, people's evaluation on government's policies and their needs for future homeland reconstruction are also discussed. <<
