Since the reform and open to the outside world, especially in recent years, Henan province has made great achievement on urbanization, industrialization and agricultural modernization, and transformed from traditional agricultural province to new industrial province successfully. Henan province has turned into the fifth largest provinces economically. But considering the "urbanization, industrialization and agricultural modernization" coordinated development, there are still many problems, prominently manifested in that industrialization and urbanization have come apart, urbanization has lagged far behind industrialization, the level of agricultural modernization is still low.
