in 2014，Guangzhou education system focused on promoting advanced city of education modernization by taking reform as its impetus，development as the theme，improving of teachers’ quality as the key point and promotion of education equality as orientation，so as to gain new achievements in basic education，discipline development，group construction and comprehensive reform. However，the perfection of education system，construction ability of education modernization，contribution of education to Guangzhou as well as the agreement between education development and people’s demands still need further improvement.
