广州都市农业发展落后于国内主要城市，在省内也未体现出先进示范作用，存在相关统计指标设计不科学、科技创新创业力度不足、农业发展缺乏后劲等问题。广州应转变观念，从战略高度认识都市农业；研究攻关，依照四大原则构建“都市农业主要指标”；科技带动，培育广州农业创新创业拳头品牌。
<<Urban agriculture of Guangzhou lags behind major cities in China，and has not reflected the role of advanced demonstration In Guangdong province. Guangzhou can take three measures to improve：take urban agriculture into development strategy planning；adjust Main Economic Indicators of Urban Agriculture；nurture high quality brand of agricultural innovation and entrepreneurship.
