In August 2014，the Central Committee of the CPC Group for Overall Reform formulated the guidance on promoting convergence of traditional media and new media. It put forward that we should rely on advanced technologies to upgrade content construction and promote deep integration of traditional media with new media in content，channels，platforms，operation，managements and other aspects，so as to create a new group of diversified，advanced and competitive mainstream media，and build several media groups with powerful communication capacity，strong credibility and great social influence. As China’s first listed press group，Zhejiang Daily Press Group focuses on promoting integration development of the media in recent years and it has carried out a series of attempts and practices，giving full play to its capital and resource advantages，creating capital platform，technology platform and user platform for integration development，and finally gaining the initiative in the transformation from the traditional newspaper to the internet media group.
