Guangzhou protection of cultural heritage had made unprecedented progress in 2014，and the full protection system covering relatively complete regulations，financial security and policies had been formed. With “One Belt and One Road” initiatives，Guangzhou launched the projects focusing on the excavation the relic traditions in Maritime Silk Road to promote the development of marine culture and traditional culture. Besides，the brilliant cultural benefiting services had maintained the cultural order and environment in Guangzhou. In 2015，Guangzhou should intensify the efforts to foster the world cultural city and promulgate the corresponding policies and regulations. Then，the construction of Maritime Silk Road would be the important opportunity for Guangzhou to be involved in the cultural communication with the Southeast Asia. Further，the increase of financial investment on cultural and creative industries and the public digital culture construction would be the keys to promote the great development and prosperity of Guangzhou culture.
