Chinese marine public service system includes marine surveying and mapping，marine monitoring，marine information，marine forecast，marine traffic security，marine natural disaster prevention and reduction，marine measurement，marine salvage，and so forth. Since the reform and opening-up，Chinese marine public service has gone through four stages：infrastructure stage，technology improvement stage，political structure reform stage and comprehensive development stage. Basing on the condition of Chinese marine public service of the past years，this article discusses the basic situation and the characteristics of every stage，evaluates their advantage and disadvantage respectively，and also predicts the future of Chinese marine public service.
