Benefiting from supportive measures of governments，the living condition and development of Guangzhou rural youth has demonstrated new features. According to research，working in urban areas has become the best choice for rural migrant workers，but they are unable to accept professional training. They barely find a job with higher salary and their life satisfaction is not as good as their expectation. Their value on spouse selection and love & marriage tend to be traditional，but also more positive than before. New media has greater effects on the rural youth day by day as social networks are prevailing. They rarely organize leisure-time activities and are short of recreational sport. Besides，they attach importance to current affairs，and hold positive attitude towards national and social development. Considering that current development of the rural youth，this report will put forward a plan for promoting development of rural youth from perspectives of financial support，skill training and policy guarantee.
