Our country has entered a period of rapid urbanization since the reform and opening-up.The strategic significance of urban-rural fringe area becomes evident as the acceleration of rapid urbanization.The problems for the management of urban-rural fringe area in the process of urbanization include still lagging social management,relative chaos of economic management,un-perfected planning and management,lagging systematic reform of administrative management,and frail product quality and food safety management.This paper elaborated the general principles and developing objective,and discussed the developing ideas of innovative strategy for urban-rural fringe area:Firstly,innovating management measures and implementing public service better;Secondly,breaking dual structures,and integrating urban and rural development;Thirdly,making clear dominant industry,and promoting industrial upgrade. <<
