With the acceleration of urbanization,urban management is seriously lagging behind in the rapid development of modern urban construction,while grid technology is a very effective means to enhance the urban management.Urban Grid Management is an effective combination of modern information technology and urban management,which makes up for the disadvantages of the traditional urban management.This paper summarizes the application of grid technology for China's urban management,including generation and development,connotation and characteristics,core technology as well as the basic structure of the urban grid management,analyzes the effectiveness and extension of the urban grid management,describes the existing problems and makes recommendations. <<
