The social mentality survey of Beijing residents in 2014 shows that in the field of knowledge values，residents generally accept the role of knowledge in meeting the higher level needs of people；in the field of ideal schooling’s expectations，residents emphasize training students’ ideological and moral standards and mental health and playing the leading role of teachers；in the field of family education，high family socioeconomic status of residents is more sympathetic to send their children to famous schools foreign schools，and low family socioeconomic status of the residents to show more exam-oriented education.
