The study attempts to explore occupational values of Beijing residents. According to the results of the survey，the values during choosing occupation of Beijing residents has some characteristics：valuing work conditions and self development，pursuing stable occupation，there is a gap between ideal and reality during choosing occupation. The values during working of Beijing residents has some characteristics：valuing relationships，most people agree with Collective concept，most people agree with family is more important than work. Then analyzes the occupation value of different group characteristics differences，and offer some suggestions.
