Mediation has a fundamental role in the labor dispute process. This research summarized the characteristics of the labor dispute mediation methods and skills in China，in terms of the mediation style，mediation organization，mediator，and mediation method，etc. And on this basis，the mediation process is divided into five stages：mediation preparation，the mediator opening，the parties elaborated，problem solving and negotiation phase. Take the mediation preparation phase for example，this paper introduced the specific methods and skills of every mediation stages. As an application-oriented research，results of this study will be applied in the mediator training program.
