In 2014，Guangzhou cored on the technology innovation，along with the general idea of promoting the integration of technology and industry，the combination of finance and technology，the cooperation of platformand livelihood. Obvious achievements had been gained around science and technology program management reform，Sunshine Recycling Operations，IAR collaborative innovation，science and technology enterprises incubator building，government information sharing and other key tasks with concentration and effective implementation. However，there were still significant deficiencies in institutional innovation，R&D investment and basic research in Guangzhou. Conclusively，Guangzhou would implement the innovation-driven strategy to accelerate the institutional innovation and systematically solve the problems of lagged science and technology for further development of science technology and informatization in 2015.
