From the discussion with the related theories of collaborative innovation，the research lists the latest progress of collaborative innovation at home and abroad，and analyzes the problems existing now；Second，based on the practice of collaborative innovation in Guangzhou，the research analyzes Guangzhou’s resources，and summarizes the accomplishment of collaborative innovation in Guangzhou，the restricting factors and problems；Finally，compare with Beijing，Shanghai and other big cities，the research provides some suggestions for Guangzhou to strengthen the collaborative innovation.
