In 2014，Guangzhou focused on supporting new energy vehicles development according to establishing the guarantee mechanism and greatly extending the application and development of new energy vehicles. However，the institutional mechanism for new energy vehicles is still not perfect，and the equipped charging infrastructure is not facilitated. The industrialization and R&D are eager to be improved. Guangzhou should insist on the principles including innovation-driven，market-oriented，prior public services and coordinated development to strengthen the support for technology innovation and new energy vehicles development as breakthrough and traction in environmental facilities construction. Further，the independent innovation capacity and brand had to be fostered to build Guangzhou into a national leader in new energy vehicles development and production.
