In recent years，the number of international scientific papers published has soared in Guangzhou，and the scientific research continued to be improved. However，the depth reform of science and technology regime requires more high quality paper. Therefore，taking SCI papers as the object of survey，with the combination of online and offline research approaches，the status quo of Guangzhou international scientific papers is analyzed and the suggestions to improve the output and international competitive of scientific papers are also proposed.
