On the basis of the review of urban housing security system development process in China，this paper summarizes the construction achievements of urban housing security system in the “Twelfth Five Year Plan” period，and analyzes the existing problems of urban housing security system. Then the paper looks forward to the development orientation，the focal points and trend of urban housing security system in the “Thirteenth Five Year Plan” period. At last，the relevant policy suggestions are put forward in order to solve the existing problems of the housing security system in China.
